"Who cares? We're here, lets focus on us. And getting out," he didn't want to theorise how many societies were trapped or who had died here, he just wanted to leave and maybe go their own way? Any chance the Doctor would be nice enough to calmly part ways with him? Or was that merely wishful thinking. Because he could do without the epic lecture of goodness he always got.
