No One Hears You Scream in Space
Oct. 17th, 2013 08:26 pmFor the longest time, the Doctor stood still at his console, watching a light blink ominously at him. His arms were crossed over his chest and he turned to the display monitor which accompanied the distressed light with Gallifreyan text scrolling across. Stoically, he remained unmoving, watching and only blinked when he heard Donna move behind him.
"I didn't know you were up." His voice remained neutral, though he didn't turn to look at her, "Did I wake you...?" He forced himself to tear his eyes away from the screen to look at Donna and offered a flash of a smile, as it didn't linger nor reach his eyes. If anything, one could say he was developing knots in his stomach.
