A New Start

The Doctor sat on the jump seat of the TARDIS, legs propped up on the console and he watched as she whirled and hummed with center moving it's usual up and down. He wasn't sure how long he had been sitting there watching, but enough to realize his legs were beginning to protest the position he's kept himself in.
Unlucky for him, the TARDIS then caught wind of something and began picking up speed with a jolt. "Oh now where are you going?!" He asked the stubborn blue box as the surge forward ejected him from his seat right into the console. Managing to dash around, he threw a few switches and turned a knob or two in hopes to make things right until things stopped entirely.
It felt like the TARDIS was plummeting from the sky and he rushed to throw open the doors to see where exactly they were. "Oh, London..." And then it hit him that he'd crash through a good part of whatever building he'd be landing on at this rate and dashed back to try and control the steering. "C'mooooon!" He spoke through gritted teeth.
Moments later there was a final crash as the TARDIS managed a rough landing currently in a near empty section of the Underground. Throwing open the doors, the Doctor stumbled out with his brown longcoat half on as he moved to inspect the outside of his beloved TARDIS. "Now you just had to be difficult, eh!? I don't like that, you know." He continues lecturing the blue box as he circled it and looked out around his surroundings. "What got you so excited anyways?"
